Once again we have had a successful retreat! We gathered in a different building on the Incarnation Center grounds. 7 out of 10 of us were able to come this time around.
In the above photo, from left to right is Elizabeth, Brienne, Judy and Dana.

In this photo, from left to right is Joanna (our illustrious healer) and Pat. The information Pat stores in her mind astounds me.
We all worked on our own work, we were again served fabulous food, and I couldn't be happier.

This is what I worked on. Nowhere near finished, but one hell of a start.
And here is a photo of me in front of the completed Beast.

There is no better a Beast, than a Whole one! It looks wonderful - pleasant dreams.

Posted by: Nicky Perryman at November 10, 2004 08:50 AMYour comment about healing from the election sure hit a note with me. I'm still licking my wounds and found myself checking "no, I could not support the Bush presidency" on the Zogby survey.
I can pray for the country, heck, I'll even pray for wisdom for the man; but I can't support his administration or his agenda. It's just too greedy, too selfish, too egomaniacal.
On to more appropriate topics for quilters: The Beast is a beauty!
take care,
