Should I cut my hair?

I hung out with my friends Day and Alison this week. Both have tres stylish haircuts. I have had long straight hair for about15 years. I looked at thier fabu haircuts and immediately wanted an update!
So I went to this web site: Click here!
And pasted my face on this haircut!

Opinions anyone?
This is the original photo of me with long hair.

Melanie, I came home last Thursday and whacked my hair right off. Wore a hat on Friday and rose early Saturday morning and headed to Rolondo, my barber for him to give me some style and pizzazz. So maybe its the anticipation of the changing seasons, but I say go for it...its only hair!

I went to that site to look at other options.
To me, they all look like accidents. The question is (no matter what style you choose) will your hair actually DO that? And do you want to put yourself through whatever it takes to make the style work.
Me, I like your long hair.

Hey Melly, I like your hair both ways. A lot of help aren't I? Will your hair do that when it is cut? If you think it will, then why not just go for it. Hair grows back eventually!

i think it would look great cut that way. and that's not so short that growing it out would pose difficulty. unlike mine. :)
go for it.

like your hair both ways too, but that shorter cut does look like it will feel lighter and more fun. (And you look good). Even though I've had short hair since I was seventeen, I still get a thrill from hacking sizeable chunks off. I love layers. Not a possibility at my lengths, but I do love them so.

I like the idea for the new hairstyle, it would definitely suit you.

The styling aspect might not work for you though. I have wavy hair and I prefer to have styles that look good(ish) without having to worry about putting in goo and blow drying every morning. It's important that my hairdresser understands that.

As the saying goes... it's only hair, it grows. Mine's a bit longer than yours and quite layered. I never knew my hair was this curly! I may not let it grow out again. If I want it more spikey, I just have to blow-dry it. Most of the time, it's curly. These things happen. :D
