What about bug rights? slug rights?
Want to know more? Check out Moondog. Better yet, buy this album and listen to track 31. :)

So JJ and I had another great day. I don't know if I have mentioned that the Goodwill is now my new favorite shopping adventure, but, well, there you have it.
We bought a one gallon sac of plastic animals, came home and promptly reverted to a genuine state of 8 year old bliss.

And well... I sort of have a thing for Schliech brand plastic toys anyway. There were a few in this large haul and deeply coveted at that!

We split the bag, I seem to have gotten the larger part of the mix. (hmmm). And am happy to say that the elephant herd stayed together. They don't like living separately anyway.
As an aside? Read White Bone
Music, plastic toys and books all in one post! Damn.

Posted by: emmajane at September 7, 2006 11:08 PM I used to take lunch with Moondog at least once a week when I was going to SVA. I would bring fruit and cheese and hot chocolate and sit with him and listen to him go on about ~Everything~. Of course, back then, he was just a street beggar as far as I knew and not forthcoming about personal things. As much money as he seemed to make, I gave begging serious career consideration.
He was in full Viking regalia back then and I was fascinated with him. I went about in engineer boots and a red monk's cloth poncho that dragged on the ground, carrying my things in a metal pail instead of a backpack. We were quite a pair to behold.
