little tid bits

Last night I went to an art opening by myself. I enjoyed it but it was difficult just the same. People want to talk to me about the changes in my life and I am reticent. It satisifies thier curiousity and serves to put me into a fretful place. As I was leaving the event, I drove behind a car with the bumper sticker,

"You don't have to believe everything you think"

Fitting.
On the otherhand I got two compliments on my hair. I am one stylin' babe. Having never really fussed with my hair, or even had a hairstyle, it is fun to speak with women about the hair salon, the 'woman who does my hair'.
I also got several comments on my red clogs. They were an impulse purchase last year and I have never regretted a moment of it. I feel like a superstar in those shoes, and women everywhere comment on them. Every woman should own a pair of red shoes.

I love the color red, especially when it's a deep blue-red. Red shoes? Well, that's just too delicious! Gotta love that!

sounds like David is going to take a job somewhere else? and you'll be moving? Hang it there. the not-knowing is the worst, but then when you know, remember 'action brings hope.

Having your hair 'done' or regularly getting manicures and/or pedicures is like joining a cult. Suddenly you're a part of this group that has a common interest. I bought a pair of bright red shoes this past week. From my favorite on-line shoe store, Zappos. I love my red shoes. Enjoy, enjoy.

Hi Melly:) how is your hair today? I don't possess a pair of red shoes at the moment, but am seriously thinking about purchaising one..

I visited your blog and your artwork for the first time today. I have found you through artful quilters webring and I'm glad I did. I love your textil work, so subtle, colourful, contemporary.

I'm a textile artist and I have tagged you and 6 other persons I have not yet had the pleasure to talk to because I thought it would be nice to meet:) Please visit my blog to find how to participate. If you don't like it, it is not a must. Have fun.
Have a nice creative day
Andrea
