The Mavericks welcomed me.

This week I taught Monoprint with Soy Wax at Marla Hattabaugh's studio in Phoenix, AZ. We had great fun. This is the first time I taught a class where there was a man in the class. He was a joy and quite ready to learn, as was everyone. I love getting the group photos at the end of the day. When I took this one, I asked everyone to say 'Lactose Intolerance!'

My crazy life is accelerating this week. David has an apartment in New York and is leaving on Friday. I am lucky because this stint will only last 10 days or so. I have tickets and am flying back east for the holidays.
Because of all this and in an effort to really settle right into myself, I have decided to take a weekly Yoga class and to begin to maintain a home yoga practice too. I used to be very good at the home practice part. I want to have the ability to go outside the home too. So I have decided on The Yoga Experience on San Fracisco street in downtown. My muscles need toning.
I plan to take the beginners yoga class on Sunday morning, because I have never taken a yoga class anywhere but in front of the TV, or on a CD.
