2 Part

matchstick.jpg

It is super difficult to photograph these things! These are Matchstick Mary's in a bottle cap altar. Two part epoxy encases the little gal. She is surrounded by beads, has a halo of either beads or puff paint spikes and will soon have a stand made of Fimo.

I made 4 and tried another type without the fancy Mary-just an image with beads, threads and glitter.
I perfer the Matchstick Mary's. They play into my love of religious iconology, they are tiny and fiddly to make and hey! Who doesn't love a thing encased in plastic? Glitter? Puff paint? Come on.

Thanks! I always wound around cardboard and then had a mess when I went to do the wash out. Have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy your trip to the other coast. Cheers.

The floss holders are such a good idea. The first time I tried dyeing my own yarn I ended up with a tangled mess. Your video is full of useful hints! Thanks.
