QN, Birds and crashed computers

Just before David and I left for Quilt National and our trip out east, my computer crashed and had to be sent to the doctor. That is the way of it, isn't it? I wanted to post images of the outfit I made but, blah, blah, blah. You know the story.
Quilt National was fantastic. I made some connections and contacts that are invaluable. I have not yet ingested it all.
I am in Connecticut visiting my mom and dad with David and we are about to eat.
This photo is a picture of a Crackle I helped place back into a tree where it could be fed by its mom and dad.
Gotta go eat from my own folks kitchen, so bye for now!

Glad to hear you had a good time at the Quilt National. Cute photo!

HI Mel!
You look great-HAPPY and relaxed-I'm glad that your "new" and "old" lives are meshing so well!
How were you able to handle the baby bird so you would not leave your human smell on it? You smart bird rescuer you!
Hey and your finished bluebird piece is SO NICE! Thanks for all the updates and explanations about it-you work in a quite different way than I do(I'm obsessive compulsive, you are not or at least it does not show!) but the HEART of the piece is very similar.
Take care!
Jane

Sounds like QN was fantastic, and too much fun!I'll bet your blue dress was beautiful...you know I love blue.. Enjoy the summertime, and stop by if you have a moment...I miss you more than ever.

Hi Melanie, it was great to meet you at QN. I was so impressed with your quilt in the show, I think I stood for hours in front of it, okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, but I took a lot of photos too. Your man is pretty cute too! xoxoxoxo PaMdora

I am amazed that no one commented on Bernie's outside shower, which shows in the background of the photo.

PS Best week I've had since December!!! ;)
