I am amazed by your support and generosity. Amazed. Thank you so much for supporting me with comments, cards, soft hats, hand dyed scarves, hippo toys, tea, magnets, ribbon pins, goofy hats, pink ribbon stoles, stuffed birds, and all you are. It's just plain Love.
I am sorry that I cannot send thank you notes to each and every one of you. I really am trying to focus my energy on healing first and art making second. I also have a Man who I needs love and affection too.
Someone even honors my Arrowcat who can sniff through any box, knowing the presense of good is inside...
And if any of you follow me personally on facebook (where I will give short updates as to my health and personal life), you will know that I think BUGS should be my totem creature right now. They are resilient, long standing and indefatigable. Traits I want to embrace.

Hi Melanie, I have been following your art for what seems like years. You are a very creative, sharing person. I would love to do something for you but right now except for my prayers I will keep you in my thoughts. Believe in miracles, stay strong and don't give in to cancer. I belong to a couple of worldwide prayer groups and I have added you to those lists. Prayer helped me get through some very difficult times and like I said I believe in miracles. You will survive and be an even better person. Some day I hope to take a class from you in person. If you ever need to ramble on in the middle of the night, email me. I sat up many nights with my dad. Again you will survive. alena

Melly, I think of you often--sending you lots of healing energy, white light and love! I made eyeglass cases from some of the fabric I created while taking your San Diego soywax batik class a few years ago. I try to send a prayer for you each time my fingers touch the fabric.
