Wow, it is a challenge to blog everyday. Today I got a good start on sewing and embroidery. My eyes are filled with pink. I find pink to be a very happy color.

I wonder about color having emotional weight.

[Evil spammer.]

Yes, I think color has emotional weight. Orange is always a happy color, as is bright pink. You can't think of anything bad associated with either.

This spot has some info about color and how it affects us. I know that color affects me ~ hence a yellow house. I love that you will have a whole town giving you a hug when you wear the top. xoxo
(Evidently evil spammer does have holiday tasks to do.)

You've clued me in to start to learn more about contemporary boro - I had never heard of it and am not sure how it varies from patchwork with repurposed cloth, but I look forward to following your progress and learning more!

Pink is the color of happiness for sure!! I have a quilt in progress that was my project for a challenge based on the word "Happiness." I call it Big Pink Happiness, honoring The Band (who I love) and how this quilt makes me feel just looking at it. Loaded with all shades of pink! I'm quilting hearts all over it using a 12 wt Sulky Blendable-pink of course! I'll be extra happy when it's on my bed-only happy dreams could ever happen under it!!
